Hamster Kombat Eyes 100% Rebound Amid Market Correction: Is New Peak Near?

Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) is the most trending Telegram game, gaining 300 Million users in a short time and millions on their social media platforms. This popularity has brought immense hype around this token, leading to the Binance listing at the 58th Launchpool. However, this popularity might decline with the rising competition and controversy in the game after its recent updates and news regarding future airdrops, causing it to trend on X.

Nevertheless, it is nothing new for this telegram game to trend on X due to its popularity. However, it is different this time because of HMSTR Airdrop, & major listings, Season 2 updates, and users’ disappointment.

Hamster Kombat Airdrop & New Season

After months of delay, Hamster Kombat is finally to launch its HMSTR token with one of the best Airdrops on September 26. It has boosted the demand for this tap-to-earn game as the investors wait for their tokens after putting months into playing.

It also marked the end of its first season, where the team has shared a snapshot of players’ progress, letting them know their HMSTR airdrop eligibility. However, there are also a few changes with the beginning of the ‘interlude season,’ where players can no longer earn the coin by tapping on the main screen. Additionally, they have removed the Mine menu with crypto exchange upgrades.

The Hamster Kombat’s official X post revealed that this interlude season is the warm-up period before season 2, which will last a few weeks. In this interlude season, the players would not receive any tokens. Instead, they can earn diamonds by participating in other partnered games, inviting friends, watching videos on Hamster’s YouTube channel, and many other activities. More importantly, these diamonds will be advantageous in the upcoming season.

Dear CEOs 🐹,

The game DOES NOT end with the snapshot. We’re now entering the Interlude Season of Hamster Kombat!

HMSTR Team Announced Anti-Cheating Mechanism

As there is time before the launch of the second season of this popular tap-to-earn game, the team had already begun working on shortcomings and issues they had faced in the first series. In an attempt to do so, they have launched an anti-cheating mechanism, which will penalize the users which tries to trick the system to win more rewards.

Since its launch, many posts have been published on social media platforms, showcasing people using AI tools and other technologies to win more rewards. However, the team has finally taken it seriously, presenting the new anti-cheating mechanism, which has already begun working.

Many users have already received the platform warning as an achievement reward, calling “Cheating is Bad.” It will also impact their eligibility for the upcoming Airdrop. In an X post, the Hamster Kombat team revealed that they want people to learn the importance of doing everything right. Moreover, the team has implemented this mechanism to protect their hard-working players.

Users Took X To Complain of Unfairness

Hamster Kombat and HMSTR hashtags are trending on X with 330k and 19.4K posts, making it the most trending topic from the Business and Finance section. Though the news of the upcoming airdrop and Season 2 has gained thousands of fans to come to X to show appreciation, the biggest reason for these many posts is the user’s disappointment with the anti-cheating mechanism.

Many users have used the X to show their disappointment with the misjudgment in identifying the cheaters. One player has called how this game has wasted his time, whereas the other called how the cheaters are now eligible for the airdrop, but the real players are restricted.

Some have called for justice, as they have spent months playing but will receive nothing after these last-minute notices. The result is that around 37% of the CEOs are only eligible for the Hamster Kombat airdrop.

Final Thoughts

The Hamster Kombat hashtag is trending on X with 330k posts with mainly negative sentiment. It might put its spot as the top Telegram game under threat, as it is a serious concern due to the launch of new Telegram games like Magic Muffin. These games have begun gaining popularity among players due to their new and better features. However, that is to happen in the long run, as Hamster is ruling the market with 100 Million active users. For now, the HMSTR airdrop and season 2 will bring more demand for this game.
