American billionaire Mark Cuban continues to back the Democratic Party presidential nominee Kamala Harris. On Thursday, the billionaire stated that Harris is “pro-business” playing favorites amid the ongoing U.S. presidential elections despite tax concerns.
Meanwhile, despite recent tides favoring Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Cuban talked about key statistics that offer the Democratic presidential candidate Harris a considerable advantage.
Mark Cuban Endorses Democratic Party This US Elections
According to Mark Cuban, the main flashpoint is that Kamala Harris isn’t Joe Biden. Furthermore, he claims that the Harris administration has been way more open than the Obama administration or Trump in discussing taxation policies.
Notably, the American billionaire calls the Democratic presidential candidate pro-business. Talking to CNBC, he added, “I probably talk to [the Harris campaign] 3, 4 times a week about what’s the best approach to taxing the wealthy and increasing revenue and cutting costs for that matter.”
Previously, Mark Cuban stated that he had lost hope in Donald Trump’s emergence as a pro-business presidential candidate. Subsequently, the ‘Shark Tank’ star showcased strong backing for the Democratic Party. Cuban’s support to Harris in earlier months shocked the crypto market. He even attended Crypto4Harris group to support Kamala Harris.
However, nationwide sentiments appear to be otherwise. In a recent X poll held by the billionaire between Trump and Harris, when asked, “Who’s persona and character would you like to see young children grow up to have?” users on the platform mainly voted for the Republican, resulting in a crushing victory.
Nonetheless, the ‘Shark Tank’ star stresses Harris’ pro-business model, which proposes a 28% tax on capital gains. This starkly contrasts the current 23.8% and Biden’s 44.6% proposal.
Trump vs Harris War Continues
Meanwhile, nationwide masses currently support the Republican presidential candidate in the ongoing U.S. presidential elections. The latest Polymarket data illustrated that Donald Trump’s winning bets stood at 53%, whereas Harris’s stood at 46%.
The significant divergence comes despite Harris’ pro-business model, as spotlighted by Mark Cuban, while the Republican rides optimistic waves with a pro-crypto stance. Trump is even leading in Arizona.
