XRP News: XRP, Ripple’s native crypto is among those coins which have managed to grow amid the ongoing market collapse. This surge is guided by several factors, and SEC vs Ripple lawsuit is one of them. However, case related updates have motivated crypto whales to add more XRP.

Are whales helping XRP to ride high?

As per Whalestats, the biggest of the crypto whales moved more than 421 million XRP amid the price surge. Whales have moved approx $170 million worth of XRP in the last 24 hours.

Whales added 139 million XRP (approx worth $56 million) from the Bitstamp crypto exchange. The biggest accumulation transaction recorded has been of adding $24.3 million worth of XRP tokens from the same platform.

However, a whale moved 162.5 million XRP (approx worth $65.1 million) from its unknown wallet. This transaction depicts that the whale is waiting for some positive XRP news ahead.

XRP price is up by over 15% over the past week. It is trading at an average price of $0.41, at the press time. However, XRP price saw a price surge of 9% on Friday while other tokens were printing red indexes. Ripple’s native token is still holding a market cap of more than $20.4 billion despite facing legal challenges from the SEC.
