Ordinals Developer Leonidas Reveals Runestone Airdrop Details
Runestone airdrop progress has reached 90%, revealed Ordinals developer and host of The Ordinal Show Leonidas, in a post on X. He shared the successful completion and check-marked art, funding, Inscription partner, volunteer effort, and no team allocation.
Leonidas revealed that the remaining 10% is for “preparing transactions, inscribing/distributing, and a few other logistical things.”
He said it is the largest Ordinals airdrop ever after the achievement of Ordinals Inscriptions NFTs on the Bitcoin network. Notably, 112,383 addresses are about to receive their Runestone in the largest Ordinals airdrop ever.
Leonidas scheduled an Ordinal Show discussion on X Spaces for today. This will consist of Runestone Q&A, BTC hitting a $1 trillion market cap, an OTC scam stealing 5 BTC, and BTC DeGods worth 3x ETH DeGods.
Rune block explorer RuneAlpha has joined Runestone 0.15 BTC donators to cover network fees for inscribing/ distribution. “In the future, RuneAlpha & all Cook holders are all in to back Runestone aiming to rock it on Rune.” In response to the donation, 7000 addresses will receive Runestone.

When Runestone Airdrop?
Thousands of Bitcoin Ordinal wallets will receive their Runestone airdrop as BTC undergoes Bitcoin halving at block height 840,000. Although, Leonidas said this Ordinal inscription will have no utility and serves as a memento of the first year of Ordinals’ existence, the hype is huge.
Ordinals currently accounts for major Bitcoin network activity. Ordinals has increased block size that led to an increase in fees, providing miners enough rewards while mining difficulty surpasses 81 trillion. Network hashrate has nearly doubled in the last 12 months going from 303 EH/s to an average of 577 EH/s, as per BTC.com data.
OKX Web3 wallet has launched the Runestone Airdrop eligibility verification tool. Users can use the Giveaway or toolset to select the airdrop address validator and enter a Bitcoin address to check their eligibility.
