Eclipse Airdrop Tokenomics and Snapshot Details
According to the official announcement, Eclipse has minted 1 billion ES tokens. Out of that, 10%, equivalent to 100 million tokens, will be distributed as an Eclipse airdrop. Notably, another 5% is allocated to liquidity, 34% to the ecosystem, and development. 31% will go to earlier supporters and investors (3-year lock), and the remaining 19% to the future team member (3-year lock + 4-year vest).
The eligibility criteria for the ES airdrop favor active ecosystem participation, including bridging assets, minting tETH, providing liquidity, minting NFTs, and even engaging with the ‘Turbo Tap’ game. In short, eligibility is divided into three categories: game participation, social media presence, and Discord engagement.
The snapshot was already taken in April, but the results will be declared later to prevent fraud. Notably, the airdrop is already live and will remain active for the next 30 days, until August 15. Interestingly, a Cardano’s Midnight airdrop is also due for this year, gaining traction in the market.
