Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, and blockchain ecosystem, today announced the launch of peer-to-peer (P2P) trading services for the Vietnamese Dong (VND). Starting today, users in Vietnam can directly buy and sell USDT, BTC, ETH, and BNB using VND on the latest versions of the Binance iOS and Android mobile apps. VND is the second fiat currency available on Binance’s P2P trading platform following the Chinese Yuan (CNY).

“Binance is committed to providing our global users with more convenient fiat gateways and easy access to cryptocurrency, and our P2P service aims to lower the barriers to entry to the crypto world. We are pleased to introduce fiat-to-crypto P2P trading services to Vietnamese users to flexibly trade cryptocurrency at low costs,” said Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ).

“We hope to provide multiple fiat-to-crypto access for our users in over 180 countries and eventually achieve our mission of freedom of money.”

The Binance P2P service will support more fiat currencies on its P2P trading platform and expand services to users across various markets in 2020. Binance P2P trading is currently available to users in China and Vietnam for the trading of CNY and VND. Download the Binance iOS app or Binance Android app to start trading today.

Binance Blockchain Week

Binance will host its second Binance Blockchain Week in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from February 29 to March 4, 2020. Binance Blockchain Week Vietnam will consist of a two-day hackathon, an exclusive Binance Charity Poker Tournament and a two-day industry conference convening 2,500 industry leaders and stakeholders.

“Vietnam has enormous economic growth potential, a vibrant entrepreneurship landscape, and wide cryptocurrency acceptance, making it the next global blockchain hub,” said CZ. “We look forward to expanding our services for the local community and supporting the growth of the Vietnamese blockchain ecosystem.”
