Crypto Prices Today: Bitcoin, Pepe Coin tumbles With MKR Leading Gains

The Bitcoin price was down 0.36% to $26,254.22 on Wednesday, while its last 24 hours volume fell 32.02% to $7.30 billion. Over the past week, the largest crypto by market cap lost 3.19%.
On the other hand, the Ethereum price noted slight gains of 0.17% to $1,594.34, with its one-day volume decreasing 13.43% to $3.27 billion. One of the most trending crypto in recent days, XRP price slipped 0.78% to $0.5023 as of writing, while its one-day volume fell 11.04% to $737.53 million.
Among other major altcoins, the Toncoin price was down 2.79% to $2.12, and the Solana price decreased by 2.56% to $18.96.
Meanwhile, in meme coins, the Dogecoin price noted declines of 0.58% to $0.06069 over the last 24 hours, and its volume grew by 31% to $136.18 million. At the same time, the Shiba Inu price slumped 0.74% from yesterday and traded at $0.000007256 on September 27.
The losses in most of the major altcoins have also erased gains from the overall market. The global crypto market cap was down 0.21% from yesterday at $1.05 trillion. Its volume over the last 24 hours dropped by 14.36% to $19.48 billion.

The GMX price traded at $35.63, noting a surge of 1.88% over the last 24 hours on September 27. Its market cap rose 2.03% to $322.04 million at the same time. The recent surge in value comes on the heels of GMX’s decision to partner with the digital risk protection agency, Doppel, as a primary security collaborator.
Investors likely reacted positively to this announcement, given Doppel’s specialization in identifying digital phishing scams and brand-related cyberattacks, and its ability to combat these threats. This partnership is particularly significant in light of the increasing cybersecurity risks in the crypto industry.
