What will the stork bring you?
Japanese-themed altcoin Kounotori chose the Oriental Stork as the avatar for their $KTO token. Legend has it the majestic stork is an omen of good fortune. In Japanese folklore, fisherfolk would see the great birds dive into rivers only to emerge with beaks full of treasure. Clearly, the developers behind $KTO are hoping a little of their mascot’s good luck will rub off on them, and to be fair it seems to be working.
“We’ve had an amazing launch and our community of storkholders, as we like to call them, grows every day. We’re really looking forward to the next phase of the project now as we prepare to launch our own unique NFT collection.” Gerion, Kounotori Project Leader.
Keep a bird’s eye out
If the art for the promised NFT collection is anything like the crisp oriental style featured on their website the collection deserves a spot in your diary. Details are vague at the moment, but according to the Kounotori roadmap, we should hear more in late spring.
Grabbing a golden egg
Getting your own Kounotori involves a few steps, but if the token takes off the way the team behind it is predicting, getting some could be worth the effort. To get your own $KTO nest egg, you’ll need a Trust Wallet, MetaMask, or Coinbase wallet. Next, just head to Uniswap and follow the directions on the Kounotori website. You’ll need some ETH too and don’t forget to adjust slippage and keep back some ETH for gas. $KTO itself is an Ethereum, ERC:20 based token, and indeed as part of their clever anti-shenanigans measures, $KTO includes a treasury pool that ties part of the coin’s value to Ethereum. Other security features include wallet and transaction limits to prevent whale games and other market manipulation. Best of all, however, the development team is fully doxed and promise transparency and openness from the out.
Who gets the early bird?
$KTO may not be the easiest coin to get your hands on, but we think it’s one to watch and we’ve got a notch on our calendar for their NFT sale. To find out more flock to their website, read their lite paper, and follow their extensive social media channels.
