Cardano Price Outlook as Node 11.1.1 Prepares ADA for Dijkstra

Highlights

  • Cardano price was up 5% as Node 11.1.1 made Dijkstra preparations.
  • ADA aims at 0.25 should bullish momentum overcome resistance at $0.24.
  • Open interest increased 5.37%, indicating increased participation, but greater volatility.

Cardano price climbed 5% to $0.2265 over 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin as the broader crypto market remained flat.

ADA increased its weekly gain to 15% and surged beyond $0.2250 as traders eyed the resistance at $0.25.

The increase was in the face of renewed fears of Federal Reserve rate increases due to improved United States employment statistics.

Cardano Ships Node 11.1.1 as Dijkstra Upgrade Nears

The latest version of the node is 11.1.1, which is the first of four scheduled milestones that support the Dijkstra hard fork.

The maintenance update eliminates the old tracing systems and fixes the issues related to the operations associated with the Genesis capability of the network.

Intersect described a wider deployment of node versions 11.2, 11.3, and the last release of the protocol version 12.

Most Dijkstra features will be available to be tested with Node 11.2, but Leios consensus components will not be available at first.

Following such a release, DijkstraNet must enable public testing of Plutus V4, nested transactions and CIP-50 related functionality.

Node 11.3 will push the preparations further, then version 12 will provide the final protocol code required to turn on mainnet.

The effect of intersect estimates Dijkstra would have is between December 5, 2026, and January 4, 2027.

The next window, which has a greater amount of confidence, runs between February 24 and March 26, 2027.

Cardano Price Could Rally to $0.25 If This Resistance Breaks

At the time of writing, the ADA price traded at $0.2282 after a surge of 5% during the latest four-hour period.

The token peaked at $0.2321 and then pulled back, with the most recent candle showing a low of $0.2264.

ADA has regained the lost momentum in early September and currently trades above a crucial level of support at $0.22.

The four-hour structure of Cardano is still positive following the recovery of price after the price fell below the support level of $0.21.

The MACD line was 0.0029, and it is above the signal line of 0.0026.  The RSI stood at 63, indicating that the indicator is slowly heading towards overbought.

The first upside target will be at $0.24, which is about 5% above the current market price.

Further positive movement might lead the long-term ADA projection to $0.25, which is the most solid resistance in the four-hour configuration

However, failure to hold $0.22 could weaken the bullish outlook and send ADA toward $0.21.

A fall to below $0.21 would nullify the instant breakout position and put pressure at $0.20.

Cardano Open Interest Rises 5.37% as Market Participation Expands

Cardano experienced more robust derivatives operations, with an increase in the trading volume of 12% to 695.71 million in the last market session. The open interest increased 5.37% to $494.90 million, which shows that more traders have been exposed to the ADA.

Both measures suggest growing engagement and new positioning throughout Cardano futures markets. The profits can sustain short term trends though increased leverage might generate broader price movements in case of a decline in sentiment.
