SpaceX Stock Price Weekly Prediction as Bernstein Flags Telecom Risks
Highlights
- SpaceX stock price faces a crucial week as it trades near the crucial support of $135.
- A bull flag suggests the stock may test the resistance at $149 this week if buying pressure surges.
- However, doubts about the company's telecom business could weaken the rally.
SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) stock price is up by 18% since July 23, with the gains coming after the space company released its Q2 2026 results that revealed that its revenue increased by 92% to $7.8 billion. Most of these revenues came from Starlink, which reported $4.3 billion in revenue during the quarter. Despite this growth, Bernstein states that SpaceX will face challenges in its attempt to launch a mobile service.
Bernstein Flags Telecom Risks For SpaceX
When releasing its Q2 2026 earnings results, SpaceX reiterated that it was working on having its mobile service business ready by the end of 2027. However, Bernstein analyst Douglas Harned notes that having this service ready might take more time than the company anticipates.
The main constraint that Harned notes in SpaceX’s attempt to create a mobile service is the operating capacity of the smartphones that people use. He noted that many smartphones will suffer from battery drain because of the power needed to link to a satellite.
“SPCX will likely need to continue exploring additional approaches to provide a wireless service capable of competing with incumbent operators,” Harned said.
Still, the Bernstein analyst maintained a $248 target for SpaceX stock, saying that the company’s space and AI businesses will continue to perform well.
SpaceX Stock Forecast This Week
A recent CoinGape SpaceX price analysis noted that the stock has been trading within a bull flag pattern on the four-hour chart. This pattern is still in play, and SPCX has even moved above the midline to suggest that a bullish reversal is underway.
The RSI reading of 52 also shows that the momentum is now favoring bulls. This suggests that the price could close above the resistance of $149 if buying pressure rises in the next five trading days leading up to August 28.
However, SpaceX stock price is trading only $1 above the IPO price of $135. If the stock closes below this support, it could test the August 7 low of $120.

That drop could occur if the traders who were holding SpaceX stock when the price moved from $105 to $136 begin to sell to book profits.
Deutsche Bank Projects SpaceX Revenue Growth
Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu has opined that SpaceX could attain an annualized revenue run rate of $100 billion by the end of 2026.
Analyst Shay Boloor on X expounds on Deutsche Bank’s projections, saying the revenue from Neocloud will come in at $48 billion, while that of Starlink will come in at $13 billion. Boloor also says that the space business will contribute $7 billion out of the potential $100 billion in revenue.
“You’re also seeing how SpaceX is no longer relying on launch and Starlink alone, with AI infrastructure becoming the largest contributor to the next leg of growth,” Boloor said.
This bullish outlook by analysts has lifted the sentiment around SpaceX stock, which has been dropping because of concerns around 319 million shares that become eligible for sale for the first time on August 20.
