Prediction market traders on Dexsport are pricing a roughly 40% chance of Bitcoin reaching $90,000 before 2027. As of writing, the price of Bitcoin is trading at around $79,515 which puts the target about $10,485 away; the current price would need to gain 13.2% for this specific prediction market question to resolve to a Yes.
The past few weeks have been a bit bearish for BTC after briefly trading past the $86,000 mark for a few days at the beginning of October.
What does the Dexsport Bitcoin market cover?
To provide some more context on Dexsport’s “What price will Bitcoin hit in 2026?” market contract, this Yes/No market includes several ladders, among them the $90,000 mark. Total volumes traded across the available markets currently stands at $6.54 million.
As for the contract dynamics, the closing time listed by Dexsport is January 1, 2027, at 05:00 UTC, but allows earlier resolution if the outcome is reached. The wording suggests Bitcoin can qualify by touching the $90,000 target during the period.
ETF buyers have returned, though the buying has not lasted
Back to the underlying dynamics, there have been sizeable inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs this month. Farside Investors recorded $526.7 million on October 19, followed by another $524.8 million on October 21.
However, the direction reversed almost immediately, investors withdrew $635.6 million on October 22 and $137.9 million the following day, taking $773.5 million out across two sessions. This is one of the reasons Bitcoin fell below $80,000 in the recent cascade.
Farside’s October 26 entry showed $110.3 million coming back into the funds. Buyers have therefore returned, but the recent figures give little reason to assume each inflow will be followed by another. For the $90,000 case, the question is whether that buying continues or gives way to further withdrawals.
Two Fed meetings remain before the deadline
The Federal Reserve meets on October 27–28 and again on December 8–9, according to its published calendar. Both decisions fall inside the market’s remaining window.
A less restrictive policy outlook could help Bitcoin recover. But September’s inflation figures leave a reason for caution; the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported consumer prices rising 3.7% from a year earlier.
If inflation keeps the Fed from easing policy, Bitcoin may have to make the climb without that support. Even if rates stay unchanged in October, the statement could alter expectations for December’s meeting.
- Dexsport traders give Bitcoin a 40% chance of reaching $90,000 before 2027.
- BTC needs a 13.2% gain from its price of around $79,515 to hit the target.
- Bitcoin ETFs lost $773.5 million over two sessions before attracting $110.3 million on October 26.
- Two Fed meetings remain before the deadline, with 3.7% inflation complicating the case for easier policy.
