Strive Expands Bitcoin Treasury to 23,156 BTC

The Bitcoin treasury firm purchased 1800 BTC at an average price of $79,431 per coin between August 24 and 28, according to an official announcement on August 31. The BTC were purchased using proceeds from SATA and ASST shares sold at-the-market (ATM) offerings.

With the latest buy, its total Bitcoin holdings increased to 23,156 BTC worth $1.769 billion. Cash and cash equivalents also increased to $183.5 million.

With the latest purchase, Strive also flipped crypto exchange Bullish to become the 5th-largest Bitcoin treasury company in the world.

CEO Matt Cole took to X to reach out to its shareholders and the broader crypto community about the latest Bitcoin purchase. The company boosted BTC yield by 5.8% over the last two weeks.

Vivek Ramaswamy’s Strive last acquired 1,110 Bitcoin for $81.5 million. The firm remains committed to BTC accumulation despite a massive drop in Bitcoin price and MSTR shares.

ASST Stock Rally 100% in a Month

ASST stock jumped more than 4% to $22.61 during the pre-market trading hours on Monday. This signals positive sentiment among investors as Bitcoin price holds strongly above $78K despite renewed US-Iran war jitters.

MSTR stock closed 2% lower at $21.74 on Friday as Bitcoin price slipped after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s hawkish comments. However, trading volumes rose sharply.

Meanwhile, SATA preferred stock dropped below its $100 par value last week. It is also trading below par value today at $99.95. This indicates uncertainty in the crypto market.

Bitcoin price is also showing volatility, moving range-bound near $78K, with a 24-hour low and high of $77,161 and $79,346, respectively. Moreover, trading volume has increased by 96% in the last 24 hours, indicating a massive interest among traders.

Polymarket data shows prediction market participants expect Bitcoin price to reach $85,000 by December, with 69% Yes bets.
