As the date of VeChainThor blockchain comes closer, the team is taking serious steps to ensure a successful launch. Founder and CEO of VeChain, Sunny Lu is calling out for community help to find the bugs after the team discovered zero critical bugs and promises to double the bounty reward.

Sunny Lu doubles bug bounty reward

VeChain mainnet launch is fast approaching which is scheduled for the release by June end. Already it has acquired many high-profile partnerships before their big day. Now, VeChain is working on its security. Sunny Lu, the founder, and CEO of VeChain took to Twitter to announce that the team has found minor to zero critical bugs in their network. However, this is not enough of a confirmation for apparently him as he further asks for community help to find the issues. Lu also added that he “will personally double the reward of bounty of bug hunting.” Given the way cryptocurrencies are facing the issues, the recent one being the popular EOS, it is a commendable step.

At the beginning of this month, VeChain announced a bug bounty program with the reward of 10,000 USD being the highest and 500 USD (paid in VET) being the lowest as per the criticality of the bug.

VeChain community is appreciating Lu’s initiative as one Twitter user, Anders commented,

“This tweet from Sunny, CEO @vechainofficial underlines the extreme professionalism VeChain maintains in order to run a blockchain suited for enterprise mass adoption. VeChain Thor main net (end June) will change the crypto world and continue to set standards!”

Marxwal, a crypto enthusiast praised with,

“VeChain taking stuff to the next level. Awesome work team.” While another user, AllenP stated: “Damn, I wish i had paid attention in computer science class 20 years ago. Keep up the good work, so pumped to be in a solid position with $VEN.”

Well, with the rewards now being doubled, it certainly presents a lucrative opportunity for the community as well.

VeChain marching to its Mainnet launch

VeChain is making a progressive and secure journey towards its mainnet. With some big names to its list of partnerships, it is up with a good start. Before even its release, VeChainThor has already received a lot of attention.  Just recently, Safe Haven that provides inheritance solutions will be moving to the VeChainThor Blockchain. Not long back, it announced VeChain powered crypto exchange and partnered with the leading logistics company DB Schenker.

With the mainnet launch, VeChain would leave the Ethereum network and start its own blockchain. Also, its token will change from VEN to VET. However, it also means you need to ensure your coins are migrated to the new network.

At the time of writing, VeChain has been sitting at $3.09 with a loss of 3.77 percent in the past 24 hours.
