Istanbul Blockchain Week 2026 returns for its fifth edition on June 2–3, 2026, at the Hilton Bomonti Hotel in Istanbul, Türkiye. Organized by EAK Digital, the event is positioned as Türkiye’s flagship Web3 conference and expo, bringing together founders, developers, investors, enterprises, creators, and policymakers at the center of one of the region’s fastest-growing crypto markets.
Set against Türkiye’s accelerating crypto adoption, the 2026 edition comes at a time when the country has emerged as the largest cryptocurrency market in the MENA region, recording nearly $200 billion in annual on-chain transactions, according to Chainalysis data referenced in event coverage. The conference highlights Istanbul’s growing role as a major Web3 hub connecting Europe and the Middle East, with a strong focus on ecosystem growth, regulation, and institutional relevance.
The two-day program will feature main-stage talks, fireside chats, panels, roundtables, workshops, and expo activations across some of the most important themes in Web3, including real-world asset tokenization, AI, DeFi, regulations, privacy infrastructure, stablecoins, and institutional adoption. Special event highlights include the return of DeFAICon Istanbul, the RWA Builders Summit, IstanHack, BlockDown Festival and the newly introduced Institutional Markets Summit, a closed-door forum for policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, asset managers, exchanges, and infrastructure providers.
