Grok AI Predicts Chainlink Price in 2 Months
Highlights
- Grok AI projects LINK could reach $16 by mid-July soon.
- Derivatives trading volume also surged as traders cut down on leveraged trades.
- Chainlink price needs to break back above $9 to reach $9.50 and $10.
Chainlink price hovered at $8.53 after falling 3.48% over the past 24 hours. The decline came as the broader crypto market weakened by 2.84% to $2.32 trillion.
Bitcoin price also saw a liquidation flash crash on leveraged traders forcing it to fall below the crucial price floor of $68,000. During the same slump, ETH was trading at less than $1,900 and XRP was close to $1.24.
The large cascading liquidation, with Bitcoin leading the way, was followed by crypto market pressure. In 24 hours, almost $776 million worth of BTC positions were liquidated. That caused a wide-spread loss of major assets and led to a shift in sentiment into fear. The Bitcoin ETF outflows also weighed on risk appetite, across crypto markets.
Grok AI Predicts Chainlink Rally Toward $18
Despite the weak market, Elon Musk’s Grok AI gave Chainlink a bullish two-month outlook. The model predicted that LINK will reach $15 to $18 by the end of July. It also identified $16 as the most likely target by mid-July.
The forecast points to Chainlink’s role in blockchain infrastructure. Unlike other tokens, Chainlink can deliver real-world data for DeFi, RWAs, and institutional applications. Its oracle network enables protocols to access data outside of the network that is necessary for executing their smart contracts.
Grok’s bullish case also proudly featured increased CCIP momentum. Chainlink’s cross-chain protocol enables the safe sending and receiving of messages and assets across various blockchain networks. This role can expand as institutions develop applications in multiple chains.

The model also correlated the outlook of LINK with the demand for tokenization. Many more financial companies are researching tokenized assets, settlement systems and blockchain-based data tools. These trends could make Oracle services more necessary and data more secure and reliable off-chain.
However, there was a possibility of threat in the near term. However, a stronger market drawdown or a macro doubt could limit the price of LINK from $11 to $13. Grok’s basic perspective remains optimistic in a desperate situation.
As the digital asset market grows and matures, the infrastructure tokens from this cycle could be attracting new attention from the wider crypto sector.
LINK Derivatives Volume Hits $689.63M While Interest Drops
Chainlink derivatives activity was mixed, with traders trading more volume but closed fewer positions.

LINK derivatives volume increased 36.43% to $689.63 million, reflecting greater market interest. The surge means that in the latest price change traders were more active. However, open interest fell 4.50% to $436.36 million over the same period. Some traders have been taking profits, resulting in this reduction.
Is Chainlink Price Ready for a Trend Reversal?
As of the reporting, the LINK price traded at $8.5 on the 4-hour chart. The token has bounced slightly in the latest candle, rising by 0.49%.
The MACD was still in negative territory and the MACD line was at -0.182. The signal line was at -0.137 and the histogram was at -0.045.
The RSI was at 40.41, indicating that LINK has come out of oversold pressure. For the upside, LINK must first reclaim the $9.00 level. A clear move above there might give rise to $9.50.

However, when bulls are pushing through $9.50 with copious volume, the next level of interest is near $10.00. The level continues to be a big chart resistance.
A breakout above $10 might mean a move back towards $10.50. But LINK long-range prediction will require continued buying interest for that action.
The downside of the immediate support is around $8.00. If it breaks below that, LINK could be vulnerable to more weakness.
