Highlights

  • Ark’s $51 million purchase signals institutional confidence in SpaceX shares.
  • SpaceX stock must reclaim $135.23 to target $140 and higher.
  • A close below $130 could weaken momentum and expose downside.

SpaceX Stock returned to focus after Ark Invest purchased $51 million in shares during the week ending July 10.

The latest buying lifted Ark’s total investment since the June IPO above $475 million. It also showed continued confidence despite weakness.

Cathie Wood Expands SpaceX Stock Position

The company of Cathie Wood purchased approximately 52.1 million of ARKK, ARKQ, ARKW, and ARKX. Ark previously spent roughly $444 million on SpaceX shares during the June 12 market debut.

The price at which the company issued its IPO was 135 per share and the amount it raised was approximately 86 billion. That sale priced SpaceX at more than 2 trillion.

IPO Stock jumped to $176.52 during their first session before closing at $160.95. The rally continued, reaching a record $225.64 on June 16.

The stock however went plummeting after that high as initial excitement waned. Ark answered this by purchasing another 32.5 million in late June weakness.

The latest purchase may support sentiment by highlighting strong institutional conviction. Nevertheless, a single big investment does not ensure long-term profits.

The future performance will be based on launch activity, growth in earnings, valuation issues, and the general market conditions. Investors will watch whether the stock can stabilize and recover from its recent decline. Subsequent purchases may affect increased confidence in the future trading.

SpaceX Stock Prediction: Is a Breakout Toward $140  Coming Next?

SpaceX stock traded at $134.37 on Thursday, falling $0.90, or 0.67%, during an uneven intraday session.

The stock began trading at around 135.50 and rose to around 136, when the profit-takers soon curbed further increase.

The price later slipped below $135.23, which now acts as the nearest resistance level. The selling pressure came back at an approximate of $136.50, which was a pullback towards the $134 price range.

The chart indicates that the buyers are protecting support at $133.80 to $134.00 on several tests. The belief in that zone might help to recover to the $137 and then $140. A more robust breakout over $145 could open up the road to $150 and the day high.

But a close below $130 would undermine the short run arrangement and open $133. The morning rebound saw trading volume pick up, but little follow-through.

The short-term trend will be determined by the ability of buyers to recapture $135.23 with increased overall momentum today.
