BTC price reclaimed above $65k and ETH above $1,900. However, the Fear and Greed Index remained at 41. This reading demonstrated that there was still caution even with the Crypto prices of various top coins getting better. Among top gainers are Pump Coin and WLD price

Crypto Prices Rise as Bitcoin Holds Above $65K

Bitcoin price traded at $65,224 after gaining 0.65% over 24 hours and 4.29% weekly. BTC price above $65,000 bolstered trust within the broader cryptocurrency sector.

Ethereum price increased 0.43% over the past 24-hours and 4.30% weekly to $1,925. Solana led major altcoins with gains of 0.73% daily and 6.04% weekly.

BNB climbed 0.04% during the day and 3.71% over seven days. However, XRP price declined 0.31% on monday and 2.82% over the past week.

Liquidations reached $144.59 million during the past 24 hours, following a 120% increase. An increase in liquidations implies that leveraged traders experienced a stiffer volatility in the recovery.

The weekly progress of Bitcoin is one of the major contributors to the overall growth. Increased demand in ETFs has also boosted institutional backing of digital assets.

Iran Tensions Keep Global Markets on Alert

Iran and Strait of Hormuz political uncertainty remained at work on the global risk sentiment. Iran reported that the Oman-based deal was in its terminal phases.

However, Tehran said the waterway would remain closed until Washington accepted its conditions. Iran’s demands reportedly include removing the United States naval blockade.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi refuted the claim that it was in direct negotiations with the U.S. Trump termed the ongoing talks with Tehran as not more than semi-negotiations.

Trump also indicated that Washington would wait until the economic pressure on Iran escalates. Long-term tensions might impact on energy supplies and the world inflation expectations.

An increase in oil prices may decrease the demand of risk assets, such as crypto prices. Thus, the conflict continues to be a possible barrier to the revival of the market.

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Attract Strong Inflows

Spot cryptocurrency ETFs provided one of the strongest explanations for rising prices. United States Bitcoin ETFs received $854 million between August 3 and August 7.

Ethereum ETFs attracted another $245 million during that period. Both categories completed five consecutive weeks of positive inflows.

Solana ETFs registered 144,900, and XRP funds registered 1,01 million. HYPE spot ETFs have raised $2.84 million in a week.

These inflows are a pointer that institutional interest is still active despite apprehensive market sentiment. Most of the available capital was still going to Bitcoin and Ethereum products.

Meanwhile, Grayscale withdrew its proposed Cardano, Hedera, and Polkadot ETF registrations. The company submitted three Form RW filings to the SEC.

The submissions officially withdrew the S-1 registration statements of the planned products. Nonetheless, the creation did not kill the hope around current cryptocurrency ETFs.

CLARITY Act Heads Toward September Senate Vote

Senate Majority Leader John Thune filed cloture on the motion to consider the CLARITY Act. The move established a potential September avenue to the legislation.

Senators will hold the cloture vote at 2:15 p.m. ET on September 15. But this will not be final approval.

The procedural motion is merely an attempt to restrict discussion and proceed. It takes 60 votes to pass in the Senate.

Republicans currently hold 53 seats, meaning they need support from seven Democrats or independents. The ethics provisions may still be unresolved, which may make negotiations complicated.

Senators Ruben Gallego and Thom Tillis proposed a bill to limit the issuance of digital assets by authorities. It would also require Trump to divest cryptocurrency business interests.
