AmericanFortress, a privacy-first transaction and wallet infrastructure built around its proprietary tech called “Send to Name™,” has been named sponsor of Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026.

The platform, with its tagline “Digital Trust, Made in America,” exudes inclusivity and privacy, letting users send crypto to a human-readable name instead of a wallet address.

The core purpose of the company, as spelled out by its CEO, Mehow Pospieszalski, is to safeguard crypto assets. Last year alone, the company flagged ~$1.2B lost to crypto phishing scams in the U.S.

Prominent figures such as Brock Pierce and Michael Terpin are backing American Fortress, further consolidating the reason the platform has been named a core sponsor of this year’s biggest crypto event.

The Send-to-Name Model

The Send-to-Name technology is a proprietary model patented by MatterFi, the parent company behind AmericanFortress. A simple description of the tech is this:

Each time a transaction happens, a unique one-time “stealth address” tied to the sender-recipient pair is generated. Instead of sharing a wallet string, users claim a “FortressName,” which is similar to an @handle.

AmericanFortees

The handle can then be shared publicly by users through their socials or website. During the transaction process, American Fortress activates “SafeSend,” a ZK-powered transaction privacy layer that reduces public exposure through its one-click “untraceable quantum send” toggle.

American Fortress is currently planning to extend the capabilities of this technology to support multiple chains, including Ethereum, ERC-20, USDT, USDC, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and 0G. The native token of the platform is $AF. It is a utility token for the name-registry/privacy layer. While the token has launched on-chain and is part of active loyalty programs, it is still distributed as an early reward. No tier-1 exchange debut has been made yet.

Why It Fits Global Onchain Summit

Much of Global Onchain Summit’s focus is towards compliance, which resonates with American Fortress’s approach to solving privacy and compliance at the same time.

For institutions, American Fortress’s approach to dealing with privacy and compliance can also reduce stress related to address-based tracking, specifically for high-net-worth individuals or public figures.

Furthermore, the summit’s focus on AI also makes American Fortress a good fit as a sponsor, considering the company markets itself as an infrastructure provider for AI-agent transactions as well.

Privacy as Infrastructure, Not an Afterthought

As institutional capital moves onchain, address-level privacy becomes a market-structure issue. By becoming the sponsor of the Global Onchain Summit 2026, American Fortress is holding its ground as an institutional end to the privacy conversation. It also sets the tone of the direction that the conversations at the event would take.
