Credit card casinos have existed since the very foundation of online gambling in the early 1990s. However, the emergence of credit cards at crypto casinos is, surprisingly, a more recent development. Digital operators were quick to realise that not everybody could adapt to cryptocurrencies straight off the bat, and some didn’t know how to acquire them.
By introducing credit cards into crypto casinos, operators could give players an opportunity to use cards to purchase cryptocurrencies then and there, and, in some cases, allow them to play and deposit, even sometimes withdraw with credit cards, even though the casinos themselves are aimed primarily at cryptocurrencies users.
On this page, we’re going to look at a handful of the very best crypto casinos offering credit cards, and explain what you can expect if you choose to play there today.

Whether it is safe for you to use credit cards in casinos greatly depends on a variety of factors. Firstly, if a casino supports SSL encryption, has good fraud protection, and firewalls in place, your transaction should be secure from prying eyes. This is just one element of safety, though. There are a few dangers involved in this part of the process.
Where there is more danger is around legislation. For instance, if your country or state, bank or financial institution has strict rules prohibiting transactions for gambling, you may be liable for penalties from your bank if you break those rules. Furthermore, because credit card transactions are cash advances (not retail purchases), there are things to consider, including high interest rates and costly fees. If fees are $10 on a $20 deposit, for instance, you’re looking at a charge of 50% just for placing a bet, which isn’t worth it.
Ultimately, it is safe to use credit cards in trusted crypto casinos, but only if the casino has taken the necessary precautions to protect your transactions, and only if there are few to no legal impediments relating to gambling or cryptocurrency law where you reside. For that reason, it is critical that you choose to play at a safe, trustworthy and recommended credit card crypto casino, which is why we do what we do.
At CoinGape, we regularly make use of a strict and rigid set of criteria when rating and reviewing casinos. If you want to know how you can trust our rankings, allow us to explain what we look for:
The best credit card casinos must support VISA and Mastercard for at least deposit purposes. Ideally, you’ll be able to deposit directly, but if not, casinos should at least allow you to purchase cryptocurrencies using credit cards through third-party payment gateways and providers.
It is common for banks to block transactions to offshore casinos. Perseverance is often the key, or changing the amount you deposit to odd sums. We explicitly test depositing (and, where possible, withdrawing) at casinos via credit cards. We make a note of how many times we are successful. The sites we select must have high success rates.
Deposits should be almost instantaneous when depositing via credit card. During testing, we keep tabs on how long it takes from depositing to starting gameplay, with only the fastest deposit casinos represented here.
It’s a different story for withdrawals. Not all credit card crypto casinos support withdrawals via these payment methods. For those that don’t, we expect instant withdrawal times via cryptocurrencies. For those that do, we want to see delays of no more than 5 business days for credit card cashouts.
All CoinGape’s recommended casinos support Provably Fair games, have transparent T&Cs and are backed by SSL encryption. We actively scroll through and pay attention to the lengthy T&Cs to ensure that nothing untoward is hiding there. We’ll mark down any casino we don’t believe is being transparent.
Safety doesn’t just come from licenses. It also comes from sites offering you responsible gambling tools to help keep you safe when playing. We check to ensure the credit card crypto casinos that we recommend at least offer deposit capping tools, if not wager or loss limits, as well as self-exclusion and cool-down options.
We only rank casinos that we can trust. Each needs to be licensed, and if not directly, then their operator needs to have obtained a license from a recognised jurisdiction and authority. We check the license details before we recommend any credit card casino to you.
Not all casinos have dedicated mobile apps, and that’s okay. As long as a credit card crypto casino supports browser-based gameplay, has an easily navigable interface, and allows you to play on modern devices, it will be approved. Of course, some do this better than others, and that’s reflected in our reviews.
The minimum we expect to see here is a live chat service and an FAQ guide. However, email, ticketing systems, e-forms and social media support are also factors we consider when assigning scores to a casino based on its support options. We also throw questions their way, and ensure that the answers they provide are sufficient and rapid.
When we review casinos, we sign up and deposit. That means we also claim welcome bonuses and other promos. We check the T&Cs before claiming any offer, and we put the bonus through the wringer. We test a variety of games, look for win caps, game eligibility rules and other T&Cs before we deem it fair and score it accordingly.
TechSolutions-owned and Curacao-licensed 22BIT Casino is a quintessential crypto casino. However, if you prefer credit cards, 22BIT makes it easy for you to get into the action. 22BIT actively allows you to purchase cryptocurrencies in-house, using VISA and Mastercard in sync with third-party payment providers.
Minimum purchase limits start at around $20, rising to five grand. Once you have cryptos, you can bet and play. Naturally, withdrawals are then possible using the same cryptocurrency you’ve bought from 22BIT.
22BIT offers a 100% match worth up to 5,000 USDT on your first deposit. That opening offer is followed by matches of 50%, 25% and a final 25% on your second to fourth deposits, valued up to 3,500 USDT, 5,000 USDT and 3,500 USDT, respectively, with playthrough rates of 40x needing to be met over 30 days. Having the bonus represented in USDT makes things easy for you if you’re a crypto newbie, especially when depositing via credit cards, as it has an easy-to-understand rate of 1:1 with USD.

Ducky Luck is operated by the Crypto Rewards Group, a business headquartered and licensed in Costa Rica. Ducky Luck supports credit card deposits made using VISA, Mastercard and American Express, but only for deposits.
VISA and Mastercard deposits start at $25 and rise to $1,000, while AMEX deposits are capped at $750 apiece. As with some of the other casinos on this list, Ducky Luck doesn’t support credit card withdrawals, so expect to use alternative options, including cryptocurrencies, but also wire transfer, paper cheques, and Interac. We recommend opting for cryptocurrencies for withdrawals, as the withdrawal times are substantially shorter than using other FIAT methods.
Ducky Luck offers you a 500% match up to $2,500 and 150 free spins, with 30x wagering requirements and a 10x max cashout limit if you deposit with credit cards. The bonus rises to 600% and 150 free spins if you opt for a crypto deposit.

Wild Casino, not to be confused with a similar-sounding crypto-casino, is licensed through its operator by the Panama Gaming Commission. It accepts a greater variety of credit cards than competing sites on this list, with VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover all supported.
While credit card withdrawals aren’t possible, you can still cash out using FIAT options including Money Order, courier cheques, and wire transfers, as well as cryptocurrencies. Deposit limits start at $25, rising to caps of $2,500 with credit cards.
Wild Casino has a marginally different welcome bonus for you. Make your first deposit of $10 to receive 25 free spins a day for 10 days. Those spins are valid for 24 hours at a time, with maximum win caps of $100 in place. Crucially, there are no wagering requirements on whatever you win with those free spins.

Deposit limits range from $20 up to $1,000 at Forza Bet, while cashouts must be worth at least $50. Credit card withdrawals can be capped as high as $50,000 a month, but it really depends on your VIP status when cashing out.
If you choose to join Forza Bet, the site offers you a 200% match up to $1,500 spanning three deposits. It starts with a 50% bonus up to $500, then matches of 100% up to $500, and, finally, 50% up to $500. Playthrough rates differ on each deposit (40x, 35x and 25x, respectively). When you join a crypto casino with credit card options, you’re likely going to find yourself at one of three types of casinos:
How you actually process credit card deposits at crypto casinos can differ, based on how they work. For instance:
There are a few things to note, whichever way you decide to deposit, though.
Depositing at crypto casinos with credit cards can be tricky, thanks to two key things: national gambling laws and crypto regulation. Even if your crypto casino accepts credit cards, either of these two things can scupper your plans.
Several countries have passed legislation that makes it illegal for banks or payment providers to allow credit to be used for gambling activities. Their idea is that you shouldn’t gamble with borrowed money. These countries include:
| Country / Region | Credit Card Gambling Status | What the Restriction Means | Crypto Casinos Affected |
| United Kingdom | Prohibited | Credit cards cannot be used for any gambling activities under national gambling regulations in UK. This applies to both traditional and crypto casinos. | Vave, Thunderpick |
| Australia | Prohibited | As per Australian iGaming laws, Licensed gambling operators are not permitted to accept credit card deposits for gambling. | Thrill, HyperLucky |
| Germany | Prohibited | Credit card transactions for gambling are restricted under national regulations. | TrustDice, Jack.com |
| Ireland | Restricted / Prohibited | Credit card gambling restrictions apply, preventing gambling operators from accepting credit card deposits. | Varies by operator |
| Netherlands | Prohibited | Gambling operators cannot process credit card deposits for players in the country. | Cryptorino, Flush.com |
| Brazil | Restricted | Credit card deposits for gambling face regulatory and payment processing limitations. | BC.Game |
| Mexico | Restricted | Local regulations and payment processing rules prevent many crypto casinos from accepting credit card deposits from residents. | Cloudbet, Crypto Games |
| Canada | Limited Availability | Credit card deposits are generally unavailable at many crypto casinos due to operator policies, payment processor restrictions, or provincial regulations. | Stake.com, RakeBit |
The United States has a different approach. While there isn’t a direct ban, federal law and private banking policies, as well as state regulations, can play a part. For instance, the UIGEA still actively prevents credit cards from being used at crypto casinos, although with perseverance some transactions can go through.
American Express also tries to prevent this, as do Capital One and Chase, but again, these can sometimes be worked around by altering how much and where you deposit. This often comes down to the codes attached to transfers, known as Merchant Category Codes or MCCs.
If a bank sees that you live in a state where gambling is heavily restricted, and the transaction has a 7995 code, it will attempt to block the transaction. Similarly, third-party payment providers like MoonPay may use a 6051 code to avoid your transaction being linked to gambling, instead saying it is for crypto purchases. However, that, too, can suffer from mixed results.
If you decide to play at credit card crypto casinos, we strongly recommend doing your homework first. Choosing one of our recommended casinos is just part of that. You should also ensure that you make full use of a site’s tools to ensure you stick to gambling responsibly.
