Iran Officials Pessimistic About US Deal Before Midterms
Iranian officials privately doubt Washington and Tehran will settle their conflict before November’s U.S. midterm elections, according to reports. Any agreement would also need to address shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global oil supplies.
The sides made little progress during recent meetings in New York, while distrust continues to complicate negotiations. Qatari mediators have spoken separately with both governments about Iran’s proposal to reopen the waterway.

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the indirect exchanges had become more serious following Tehran’s latest offer. He hoped Washington would deliver a final response through mediators on Tuesday, leaving the next diplomatic move uncertain.
President Donald Trump previously rejected Iran’s proposal, although he expected further talks this week. Tehran seeks relief from sanctions and restrictions, while Washington wants commitments on Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear program.

The BTC price has immediate support at $82,000 and resistance at $85,000. A four-hour close above $85,000 could put $86,000 in view, followed by $88,000 as per the detailed Bitcoin price analysis. A drop below $82,000 could instead bring the $80,000 area back into focus.

The relative strength index stood at 50.80, pointing to broadly balanced momentum. The Chaikin Money Flow indicated a buy signal of 0.19 even in the midst of sideways trading. Bitcoin has to ride past $85,000 to make a stronger case for higher targets.
