The cryptocurrency has climbed 29.8% since August 19, when the U.S. Treasury announced expanded buybacks of longer-dated Treasury securities. U.S. spot Bitcoin funds attracted $2.4 billion during the week ending September 25, their largest weekly intake since October 2025.

Will Bitcoin Price Hit $100k in October 2026?
The BTC price stood at $83,259.79 on September 30, four-hour, holding above the $82,000 support level.
Bitcoin price remained below resistance at $86,000 after retreating from its recent September peak. The analysis provides higher goals of $92,000 and $100,000, but these also require a lasting recovery.
A continuing trend over $86,000 would reinforce the argument of a test of $92,000. Clearing that barrier could open a path toward $100,000, approximately 20% above the level shown as per Bitcoin price outlook for the long term.

The four-hour Relative Strength Index stood at 43, which is less than 50, indicating a lack of upward momentum, but it is not in the oversold region.
The MACD line was -186.92 and this is less than the signal line which was -151.29 and the histogram was -35.63. This bearish alignment indicates that bearish momentum continues, although recent trading is rather narrow.
On the downside, losing $82,000 would weaken the recovery structure and expose the psychological $80,000 level. Further weakness could bring the earlier September trading area near $76,000 back into focus.
Bitcoin Accumulator Demand Hits Record as Holdings Rise
The demand for Bitcoin from accumulator addresses has reached a record high. The CryptoQuant data tracks changes in Bitcoin holdings across these addresses over a 30-day period.

An analyst said the increase reflected strong buying activity from investors he described as smart money. The latest surge follows several smaller accumulation spikes recorded during 2026.
