CME FedWatch shows that traders prefer the Federal Reserve interest rates to remain at the same level during the October 28, 2026, meeting. The chart gives a probability of 82.8% to remain in the existing target range of 3.75% to 4.00.

In the meantime, there is a 17.2% chance of an increase in the rates and a zero chance of a decrease. The target range would be increased to a quarter-percentage-point between 4.00% and 4.25%, which is an increase.

FedWatch computes these probabilities based on the prices of federal funds futures contracts, which are an expectation of the monetary policy by traders. The numbers reflect market anticipations and do not affirm the decision of the Federal Reserve.

Bitcoin Whales Add 88,987 BTC as Holdings Hit Six-Month High

September 19 accumulation is an indication that there is increasing exposure of major holders even though the prices are volatile. Further accretion would help sustain confidence in cryptocurrency markets, but growing whale balances will not give any assurance of a Bitcoin price recovery.

Bitcoin and XRP Price Prediction: Key Levels and Targets to Watch

The daily chart of Long-term BTC projection indicates the first level of resistance at $82,000, and a successful breakout would attract attention to $85,000. Additional gains may aim at the peak of September at $87,395 should renewed purchasing momentum be enhanced. Support is at $80,600, and a long run failure would push the focus to $79,000.

XRP price must defend $1.29 to limit further losses after its recent decline. Any fall below that floor will open up $1.256 as the next lower point. The initial resistance to recovery attempts is at $1.35, $1.40, and $1.50.

Recapturing such obstacles would enhance the prospects of XRP but its daily RSI of about 37 remains an indication of poor momentum. The two assets require increased buying power in order to maintain gains beyond their short-term resistance levels.
