Solarious Enables Better Monetization of Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) and Other Environmental Commodities

Solarious, a Proof-of-Energy Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem, is placing a strategic focus on improving how solar energy producers verify, manage and monetize Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs), Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits and other environmental commodities.

The global REC market is a multi-billion-dollar annual market, yet the process of turning renewable energy production into monetizable environmental value remains fragmented. Solar producers often rely on disconnected systems across utilities, registries, brokers, aggregators and compliance programs to measure output, verify generation, issue certificates, track ownership and monetize credits.

Solarious is developing an integrated blockchain-based settlement and monetization layer for renewable energy markets. The platform is designed to connect verified solar production with on-chain energy records, REC/SREC settlement, tokenized environmental assets and market access for organizations pursuing sustainability and Net Zero goals.

Solarious is already operational, with a functioning Layer-1 blockchain, active ecosystem products, validator infrastructure, a growing community and early revenue. On April 29, Solarious demonstrated its Proof-of-Energy protocol by collecting, recording and verifying real-time solar energy production data on-chain.

“Solarious is built around a simple idea: renewable energy production should be verifiable, traceable and economically useful,” said Jack Samatov, CEO at Solarious. “By connecting real solar output with blockchain-based verification and settlement infrastructure, we are creating a stronger path for solar producers to capture the environmental value they generate.”

The Solarious ecosystem brings together Proof-of-Energy verification, blockchain settlement, wallet access, validator infrastructure and environmental commodity monetization. This creates a foundation for solar producers, energy partners and sustainability-focused organizations to interact with renewable energy value in a more transparent and efficient way.

By reducing fragmentation across measurement, verification, issuance, tracking and monetization, Solarious aims to make SRECs and related environmental commodities more accessible, programmable and liquid within renewable energy markets.
