- Robinhood will release earnings on July 29 after the market closes.
Robinhood (NASDAQ: HOOD) stock price is down by 2.24% today, July 28, as uncertainty around crypto regulations in the US weighs on crypto stocks. HOOD’s drop comes ahead of the company’s earnings that will be released on July 29 after the market closes.
Robinhood Earnings in Focus as Analysts Project Revenue Growth
Robinhood will be among the tech companies releasing their earnings on July 29 alongside Microsoft and Meta. Analysts expect the brokerage company to report revenues of between $1.24 billion and $1.28 billion.
If the earnings meet these estimates, it will be a 24% year-over-year increase from the revenue of $989 million reported in Q2 2025, and it could bode well for Robinhood shares.
Robinhood’s revenue for Q1 2026 came in at $1.07 billion, which was below the expected $1.14 billion. The earnings per share also came in at $0.38, below the expected $0.40.
Traders are now waiting to see whether tomorrow’s earnings will miss, hit, or surpass expectations, even as trading volumes weaken because of the bearish sentiment that gripped markets between April 2026 and June 2026.
However, Bernstein says that Robinhood could fill the gap left by weak trading volumes with volumes coming from prediction markets, and this could push HOOD stock price to $160.
The firm also predicted Robinhood could earn a revenue of $586 million from prediction markets in 2026.
HOOD Stock Price Tests Rounded Top Support as Another Drop Looms
HOOD stock price closed trading at $95 on July 27. The stock was also down by 2.20% in pre-market trading today, July 28.
Robinhood shares are now trading 20% below the July 10 high of $119. This 20% drop from $119 to $95 has completed a rounded top pattern on HOOD’s one-day chart. HOOD is now testing the support of this pattern at $93.
If HOOD stock closes below this support of $93 for three straight days, the price could drop by another 20% and reach the May 28 low of $74.
Such a drop could occur if Robinhood revenues for Q2 2026 fall below Wall Street estimates. This occurred in April 2026 when HOOD stock price dropped by 6% after Robinhood posted a revenue of $1.07 billion, lower than the expected $1.14 billion.
Still, Robinhood could hold this support of $93 if the Q2 earnings exceed expectations. Closing above this price for three straight days could cause a move to the psychological resistance of $100.

Wall Street analysts also maintain bullish bets on HOOD stock price despite the recent drop per a previous report by CoinGape. Piper Sandler, BTIG and Mizuho expect HOOD stock price to reach $135, 125 and $130, respectively.
Robinhood Chain Growth Fails to Support HOOD Stock Gains
Data from TokenTerminal shows that Robinhood Chain is now the biggest blockchain in terms of tokenized stock token holders.
This growth comes barely a month after the company unveiled the Robinhood Chain on July 1.

Still, HOOD stock price has not mirrored the growth of this blockchain, and it has instead dropped from $100 when the chain launched to $93 on July 28.
DeFiLlama also shows that Robinhood Chain has reached $333 million in Total Value Locked (TVL). It now ranks as the 15th biggest chain by TVL.
