The filing was released days after the CLARITY Act was blocked in the Senate. The step was seen as positive by traders since there would be less uncertainty among the United States crypto businesses due to clearer rules.

On-chain data indicates over 40 million SOL changed hands at around $100, which creates a bottom floor.
Liquidation data also indicates high volatility, with $103 million in shorts and 1.4 billion in longs reportedly cleared. The liquidity-to-price ratio is 14 times lower with SOL than under price and the market is susceptible to sudden downward movements. However, the trend is good so long as the price does not decline below $100 and Bitcoin does not lose its break out.
Solana Open Interest Jumps 18% as ETF Assets Reach $1.42B
Solana investment activity gained strength as exchange-traded funds had assets valued at $1.42 billion on September 17.
Daily inflows were flat, although overall inflows remained at $1.37 billion across the listed products. Value trading stood at $50.95 million, and fund assets were at 2.39 of the market capitalization of Solana.
Bitwise’s BSOL led the market with $974.52 million in assets and $1.04 billion in accumulated inflows.

The volume of derivatives increased by 71.64% to $12.17 billion, as more speculative activity was observed in Solana markets. The open interest grew by 18.44% to $7.01 billion as traders added positions to their market.
The volume of options increased by 120.50%, with options open interest increasing by 6.96% to $178.52 million.

Will Solana Price Rally to $120 Next?
The SOL price surged above $112, extending its breakout within a rising four-hour channel on the 4-hour chart. Solana was trading at close to $112.90 with enhanced trading volume.
The RSI stood at 83, which is signaling that it is overbought and that it has a high likelihood of leveling off temporarily. Nonetheless, MACD was positive, and the 2.28 line was above the 0.81 signal line.

Long-term SOL projection cleared the $110 resistance area, bringing the $115 level into immediate focus. A prolonged increase above 115 might aim at 120 and the upper edge of the channel at 122.
The continued momentum is also supported by a widening histogram since volume builds behind the progress. With SOL losing $110, there might be the emergence of support at around $107 prior to the re-entrance of the powerful $100 level into the limelight.
