Accomplished Artist, Amber Day From Visbii, Launches Ground-Breaking Social Cause NFT Collection

Illustrated by Amber Day, The most anticipated and celebrated artist entering the NFTverse this Year.

Amber Day, The creator and illustrator of Humania, a social cause NFT collection born on the Ethereum Blockchain. Amber has worked primarily as an art director before a motorbike accident caused a change of life perspective which evolved into an obsession with the creative process and a determination to pursue illustration with a deeper meaning and social significance.

Amber’s upbringing was spent outdoors, “With my siblings making up stories and using our imaginations to pass the time,” Amber explains. “I remember feeling like such an outsider because we didn’t have MTV but looking back now, I could not have been more grateful for the way I was raised, as I truly believe it is the base of my creative practice.”

Openly admitting that she uses her work in a somewhat therapeutic way.

“I’ve always viewed art as an extension of the artist,” She explains, “a window to their messy minds, and a chance to show people how the world looks through a new perspective,” she adds; forever exploring her world of emotions, mental states, hardships, struggles, and the possibilities through the work Amber creates.

Amber’s ideas on perspective are seen prominently in the proportions of the characters she draws, Amber asks how we can express emotion more physically.

“The idea of body form has always fascinated me,” Amber explains, “and I believe the work I create is my way of exploring and seeing just how far I can push the boundaries of what society and ourselves deem as normal.” 

Believing this interest may stem from growing up with synesthesia,

Amber tells us “my brain was (and still is) connecting human emotions to certain colours,” explaining “I had to rely on body language most of my life to figure out what people were really trying to communicate.” So Amber explains that when someone has a disconnect between how they view themselves, and their emotional state it profoundly affects her.

Amber has been Inspired by the characterful worlds of movie directors such as Wes Anderson and Taika Waititi. Inspiration translated to the NFTverse, Amber uses colorful illustrations that play with personality, human proportions, and the beautiful imperfections of the human physical form to create a delightfully unexpected and tolerant world that she has coined – Humania – born on the Ethereum Blockchain and gearing up to mint end of April 2022 (Date to be confirmed)

It’s all about real-world utility, says Amber, “Humania empowers the community to make a difference in the digital as well as the real world. We are teaming up with charities and foundations from around the world to raise awareness and help sufferers who have been affected by Body Dysmorphia. 

“Holding a Humanian NFT is not a flex on wealth, but a flex on our humanity. It is a flex for all the people who care for others on this wonderful planet we call home”.

Amber says that with 20% of mint sales and secondary sales being donated to various charities and causes of the mint and community holder’s choice. It will go a long way in supporting the cause and bring significance and social meaning to the NFT space and community.
