Bitget Launches TradFi 101 To Educate Users On Stocks, ETFs, Global Markets

Bitget has introduced Sub-Accounts for users involved in CFD Trading. The feature is designed for professional traders, proprietary trading teams and high-net-worth users.

Bitget Launches Sub-Accounts For CFD Trading

The users can now run more than one MT5 account from one main account. Every account may be used to a different trading strategy. The positions are evenly split between accounts and the execution is evenly split between accounts.

It is a feature that is geared towards traders who are utilizing several trading strategies. Moreover, Bitget said that it is also a best choice for those who are using Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated trading models.

Having multiple strategies in one MT5 account can complicate portfolio management. However, positions may overlap. It’s also hard to keep track if you use the margin. Sub-Accounts allow for each strategy to be its own environment.

There are a maximum of 5 CFD sub-accounts defaulted for users. MT5 ID is assigned to each sub-account. The accounts are also set to inherit the KYC and risk-control parameters set on the main account. Users are not required to re-verify each sub-account.

Meanwhile, centralized control is available in the main account on the crypto exchange. Equity/margin ratios are tracked from a single dashboard. They can also check the order logs of other accounts they have linked.

According to the announcement, the main account can be used for password management as well. Users can reset the TRADING and R/O password of their sub-accounts.

Further, risk alerts are specific to an individual account. The margin call and liquidation alert are emailed and/or delivered in-app to the corresponding sub-account.

What Did CEO Gracy Chen Say?

“Professional traders often run several strategies at the same time, and managing all of them can get complicated very quickly,” said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen. She added, “Sub-Accounts enable users to keep those strategies separate while managing them from one place. As we expand Bitget’s CFD offering, we want to make it easier for professional traders to manage more complex setups without adding more operational friction.”

The launch brings one more feature to Bitget’s CFD platform, per the announcement. It also has an affiliation with the exchange’s Universal Exchange strategy. It is a system that provides different versions of MT5 for traders and retains the management of accounts in one main account.
