Breaking: Microsoft Partners With Aptos Labs For AI And Web3 Fusion, APT Token Spikes 18%
Microsoft has joined forces with blockchain platform Aptos Labs to expand its AI endeavors and venture into the world of web3. Aptos Labs will facilitate Microsoft’s AI model training using verified blockchain data and run validator nodes on Microsoft’s Azure cloud. The collaboration aims to enhance the credibility, reliability, and transparency of AI-generated content by leveraging blockchain technology.
Microsoft And Aptos Bring AI And Web3 Together
According to Mo Shaikh, CEO of Aptos Labs, the primary focus of this partnership is addressing industry-specific challenges through mutual problem-solving. Daniel An, Global Director of Business Development for AI and web3 at Microsoft, envisions AI integration into web3 solutions becoming more prominent in the coming months and years. And just after the news came out, Aptos blockchain token APT saw a spike of 18%, and the price of the token is $7.79
Blockchain offers a solution to the growing need for transparency and verification in AI-generated content. An emphasizes the role of blockchain in attributing content to its source and time-stamping, fostering credibility in a decentralized digital economy.
As per Shaikh, large language models (LLMs) act as powerful content creators, while blockchains serve as markers for transparency and trust. This combination enhances user confidence in AI-generated content and ensures responsible AI evolution.
Aptos Labs’ high-throughput blockchain, handling up to 160,000 transactions per second, presents an appealing solution for AI training. Its rapid settlement times and cost-efficiency further attract big tech companies like Microsoft aiming to build AI-related products and services.

Bridging The Gap Between Web3 And AI
In order to make it simpler to create smart contracts, the collaboration also wants to close the gap between web3 technology and established tech businesses. Access to decentralized technology is made easier by programs like GitHub Copilot integration and Aptos Assistant, an AI chatbot connecting Web 2.0 and Web 3.
The collaboration with Aptos Labs is in line with Microsoft’s ongoing investigation of the revolutionary possibilities of blockchain and AI, as well as their shared goal of democratizing access to these technologies.
Microsoft is continuously making inventions in the AI industry. This includes the expansion of Microsoft’s Bing AI functionality outside of Microsoft Edge and the Bing mobile app. Users will soon be able to take advantage of AI-powered search capabilities with Bing Chat, which will be made available via third-party web and mobile browsers.
