Claim BonusShiba Inu (SHIB) Price Soars 5%, Are Whales Buying Amid Shibarium Speculation
The Shiba Inu ecosystem is dropping hint after hint of the much-anticipated launch of the Shibarium layer-2 blockchain soon. The community believes that tweets by Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama and official Twitter accounts related to the Shiba Inu ecosystem point to an early 2023 launch of Shibarium. As a result, the SHIB and BONE tokens rallied over 5% in the last 24 hours.
Is Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Launch Coming in Early 2023?
Shytoshi Kusama in a tweet on late December 29 revealed that the Shiba Inu team had a meeting with the UnificationUND team about Shibarium. He dropped another hint of the Shibarium blockchain launching soon.
“Love meeting with the team from @UnificationUNDabout #Shibarium. Aligning. Onboarding. Finalizing. Soon. Very soon.”
The official Twitter handle of BoneShibaSwap also tweeted that the BONE token is going to the moon and the top 10 spots belong to the Shiba Inu Ecosystem. BONE is the governance token for the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange and the gas token for the upcoming Shibarium layer-2 blockchain.
On Thursday, BoneShibaSwap also said that Shibarium is “very, very close.” The reason to believe this is the ShibariumScan.com website, which directly leads to ShibaSwap website. It indicates that “everything is being prepared.”

Whales Coming Back To Shiba Inu
Whales tracking platform WhaleStats reported that SHIB is the top 10 purchased tokens among 2000 biggest Ethereum whales in the last 24 hours. The top 100 Ethereum whales also increased their SHIB token holdings.
A whale purchased 862,364,719,323 SHIB tokens from Bitvavo on December 29. The whale transferred all SHIB holdings to a new address that has over 3 trillion SHIB tokens.
The 24-hour low and high for SHIB are $0.0000078 and $0.0000082, respectively. Thus, the SHIB price has increased by 5% in the last 24 hours, with the current price trading at $0.000008125.
Meanwhile, the BONE price is currently trading at $0.81, up 5% in the last 24 hours from a low of $0.78.
