Could XRP Price Drop to $1.25 Despite 13 Consecutive Weeks of ETF Inflows?
Highlights
- XRP price risks falling toward $1.25 if crucial $1.30 support breaks.
- XRP ETFs recorded thirteen consecutive inflow weeks despite price declines.
- Reclaiming $1.35 could unlock recovery toward $1.40 and eventually $1.50.
XRP price dropped 4.73% to $1.31 over 24 hours despite 13 consecutive weeks of ETF inflows.
The Crypto market cap fell 3.24% to $2.71 trillion as unexpectedly strong U.S. inflation figures fueled selling.
Bitcoin slipped below $81,000, while Ethereum traded under $2,400 during the retreat. Further selling could bring $1.25 into focus, as ETF inflows have failed to prevent recent losses.
XRP Price Could Dip Before Bouncing as Analyst Watches $1.25
Crypto analyst Ali Charts is watching XRP’s $1.25 area for a possible rebound toward $1.42 and, potentially, $1.60. His outlook suggests the token could decline further before buyers attempt a recovery from the channel’s lower boundary.
In a post on X, Ali described XRP as moving inside a parallel channel on the hourly chart. He identified the lower boundary near $1.25 as the level he would monitor for a potential buying opportunity.
XRP REBOUND INCOMING!?
$XRP appears to be trading inside a parallel channel on the hourly chart.
This structure suggests XRP could still drop toward the lower boundary around $1.25 before seeing a meaningful rebound.
That’s the level I’m watching for a potential buying opportunity.
A bounce from $1.25 could give XRP the strength to rally toward the mid-range at $1.42, or potentially the top of the channel at $1.60.

The setup places the initial focus on whether XRP finds support after reaching that area. A bounce would bring the channel’s middle section around $1.42 into focus, based on the analyst’s projection. If the recovery continued, Ali’s next potential destination would be the channel’s upper boundary near $1.60.
XRP ETFs Reportedly Extend Inflow Streak to 13 Weeks Despite Price Slide
XRP investment funds in the United States reportedly extended their weekly inflow streak to thirteen weeks. Spot ETFs attracted about $11.3 million from October 5 through October 9, despite XRP dropping more than 7%.
Bitwise reportedly secured $10.55 million, providing the largest contribution to the week’s positive balance. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ reportedly drew $4.1 million, while investors withdrew $3.34 million from Canary Capital’s XRPC.

The funds previously attracted $110.49 million during the week ending August 28, despite XRP also struggling.
SoSoValue’s October 14 dashboard showed cumulative inflows of $1.80 billion, with net assets standing at $1.51 billion. The dashboard also recorded $740,410 in daily inflows, entirely through Bitwise’s XRP fund.
XRP Price Tests $1.30 Support as Selling Pressure Builds
The XRP price traded at $1.3107 on October 15, 2026, according to Binance’s four-hour chart
The technical picture weakened after XRP failed to sustain September’s rally above $1.60 and subsequently formed lower highs.
The relative strength index stood at 32.82, approaching the oversold threshold of 30.
The MACD line stood at −0.0227, beneath its −0.0180 signal line, while the histogram remained negative at −0.0047.

A four-hour close below $1.30 would expose $1.25, the next support level marked.
Buyers defending support would first need to reclaim $1.35. Sustained trading above that barrier could bring $1.40 into focus. If buyers also clear $1.40, the earlier consolidation around $1.50 becomes a broader recovery target.
