SpaceX Stock Outlook as CFO Predicts New Compute Deal Could Drive $100B ARR by Year-End
Highlights
- SpaceX stock price is rising on optimism around the company's revenue growth.
- CFO Bret Johnsen predicts SpaceX could attain a $100B ARR in 2026.
- Johnsen based his bullish outlook on a new AI compute deal.
SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX) stock has stalled as macro pressures like geopolitical tensions and the looming Fed rate hikes weigh on the price.
SpaceX’s CFO, Bret Johnsen, now predicts that the company’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) could reach $100 billion by the end of 2026.
SpaceX has also secured a new AI compute deal that could improve its balance sheet.
SpaceX CFO Announces $13B AI Compute Deal
While speaking at a conference by Goldman Sachs, Johnsen noted that SpaceX has secured a data center deal that could generate revenue of $1.11 billion each month starting from December 2026.
The CFO said that because of this deal, he now has “more conviction” that SpaceX would attain $100 billion in ARR by the end of 2026.
Johnsen also commented on SpaceX’s growing relationship with Nvidia, saying that the chipmaker would enable SpaceX to increase its terrestrial computing capacity from over 2 gigawatts to between five and 10 gigawatts in 2027.
As earlier reported by CoinGape, SpaceX also partnered with NVIDIA to power its Starmind AI satellite network.
Besides these compute deals, SpaceX is also expanding its footprint in the UK after reports that the UK has spent nearly $40 million on Starlink and Starshield.
William Blair Reiterates Outperform Rating on SPCX After Compute Deal
William Blair, an investment bank with $85 billion in assets under management, has reiterated an outperform rating on SpaceX stock because of the new compute deal announced by the company’s CFO.
The reiterated rating suggests that the investment bank is not expecting a dip amid the ongoing share unlocks.
$319 million shares were unlocked on September 9 and another 59 million on September 10. Another 328 million shares will also be unlocked on September 24.
Pivotal Research also recently initiated coverage on SpaceX stock and assigned a $220 target per a previous CoinGape SPCX price analysis.
SpaceX Stock Tests $150 Resistance Level as Rising Channel Holds
The price of SpaceX stock is moving within a rising channel pattern. This pattern emerges as buying pressure outpaces the selling pressure over a period of time.
SpaceX stock was testing the resistance at the midline of this rising channel at $150 during pre-market trading. If it closes above this resistance, the price could target the 161.8% Fib of $185.
This move aligns with a bullish forecast by the founder of CappThesis, Frank Cappelleri, who said the stock is creating a bullish cup-and-handle pattern that suggests that SpaceX stock could reach $195.

The MACD line that is positive suggests that the momentum is still bullish. However, the AO bar that is red suggests that the uptrend might be becoming weak.
If bearish macro pressure causes a return of selling pressure, SpaceX stock could drop to the 61.8% Fib of $135.
