Breaking: World’s Richest Man Puts ‘Bitcoin’ in His Twitter Bio Says It Was Inevitable

World’s richest man Elon Musk recently updated his twitter bio and mentioned Bitcoin promoting the cryptocurrency among his followers worldwide. He also tweeted that this was inevitable indicating his interest in crypto space.

Elon Musk’s interest in cryptocurrency is not new and he has already confirmed owning Bitcoin. In recent past he has tweeted about cryptocurrency and publicly enquired prominent pro bitcoin investors like Michael Saylor about Bitcoin’s capacity to handle large transactions. He also tweeted that he is willing to be paid in Bitcoin.

But, today, to everyone’s surprise he updated his twitter bio with ‘Bitcoin’ as the key word.

Bitcoin price is observing a spike since this news broke out as this event is starting to get more and more media attention. Crypto community has long anticipated Elon Musk to enter crypto and allow bitcoin holders to buy Tesla via crypto.

Bitcoin Price Jumps by more than $6,000 Post Elon’s Tweet

Bitcoin price saw a massive surge following Elon Musk’s update of twitter bio and tweet. At the time of reporting Bitcoin price jumped by more than $6,000 and is currently trading over $38,000.

The positive sentiment in market is also compounded by Coinbase’s update for a direct listing instead of an IPO. Crypto community as well as mainstream media is anticipating major news from Elon with respect to entry to Bitcoin.

Will Elon Follow Michael Saylor’s advise and move Tesla’s balance sheet to Bitcoin? This is question everyone is asking.
