Highlights

  • WorldClaw offers about 90 AI models, including 43 developed by Chinese technology companies facing scrutiny.
  • WorldClaw accepts World Liberty’s USD1 stablecoin as payment, connecting the crypto venture with AI services.
  • Alibaba, Baidu and Z.ai models appear on WorldClaw despite their developers facing U.S. government restrictions.

Trump backed World Liberty Financial is working with Hong Kong-based WorldClaw, an AI platform offering dozens of Chinese-developed models, including systems from companies facing U.S. national security restrictions and scrutiny.

World Liberty Financial Partners With WorldClaw

WorldClaw provides access to about 90 artificial intelligence models through its WorldRouter service. Of those, 43 come from Chinese developers including Alibaba, Baidu and Z.ai. The platform also provides models developed by U.S. companies such as OpenAI and Anthropic.

WorldClaw accepts World Liberty Financial’s USD1 stablecoin as payment for its services. The Trump family owns 38% of World Liberty and can earn revenue linked to its crypto products. The exact financial terms between World Liberty and WorldClaw have not been publicly disclosed.

World Liberty executive Ryan Fang has also served as an external adviser to WorldClaw. The AI company described his role as “strictly advisory” and focused on USD1 adoption, partnerships and broader access to AI services.

Chinese AI Models Face U.S. Government Scrutiny

Several Chinese companies whose models appear on WorldClaw face restrictions or scrutiny from U.S. authorities. The Pentagon has designated Alibaba and Baidu as Chinese military-linked companies, while the Commerce Department placed Z.ai on its Entity List.

WorldClaw also provides access to models from DeepSeek and Moonshot. U.S. officials have accused those companies of intellectual property violations involving American AI developers. The Chinese government has disputed allegations of technology theft, while several affected companies have challenged U.S. government claims.

Using the Chinese models through WorldClaw is generally legal for U.S. individuals and companies. However, certain restrictions can limit direct business transactions involving companies on U.S. government lists.

WorldClaw Defends AI Model Access

WorldClaw said providing access to a model does not represent an endorsement of its developer. The company also said it operates independently from World Liberty and helps American AI companies reach users outside the United States.

World Liberty spokesperson David Wachsman said major U.S. technology companies also provide access to both Chinese and American AI models. “This is a common and widely accepted approach,” Wachsman said.

The White House rejected concerns about a potential conflict involving President Trump’s connection to World Liberty. Spokesperson Anna Kelly said “there are no conflicts of interest” and maintained that Trump acts in the interests of the American public.

WorldClaw says WorldRouter has more than 10,000 users and handles over 50 million requested tasks daily. Its privacy policy states that user inputs may be shared with companies providing the underlying AI models, while WorldClaw says it applies privacy and security protections across its platform.
