Bitcoin Price Outlook After Trump Eases Iran Fears: Will $82K Support Hold?
Highlights
- Bitcoin price rebounds above $83,000 as traders watch $82,000 support.
- Trump rules out fresh Iran strikes before November midterm elections.
- Bitcoin ETFs record $244 million outflows, while Ethereum withdrawals continue.
Bitcoin price hovered at $83,000 on Friday as cryptocurrencies recovered from Thursday’s selloff following a week of losses. Ethereum price rose to over $2,500, and XRP recovered to $1.40 as the larger market began to stabilize.
The recovery was accompanied by President Donald Trump telling off other American attacks on Iran before the November 3 midterm elections.
The Fear and Greed Index stood at 59 in the Greed territory on Friday, compared to 64 the previous day.

Trump Eases Iran Fears Ahead of US Midterm Elections
Trump announced on Thursday that Washington would not be attacked again before the vote, as reported by the Associated Press. He also reported making progress with Tehran, indicating that diplomacy still went on despite previous failures.
His words provided a better roadmap following weeks of warnings of the possibility of military escalation after the elections. Trump has already suggested that a solution might appear soon before or after Americans vote. Seven months on, the war is still going on way beyond Trump initial predictions of military operations taking several weeks.
His announcement was a temporary halt, with the future of a permanent agreement still uncertain. The pledge did not indicate which military decisions would be made by Washington after the November elections.
This was met with apprehension during negotiations that Trump turned down an Iranian proposal on the Strait of Hormuz late last month. The strategy by Tehran would have opened the shipping route within seven days had Washington accepted some conditions.

The US has issued a counterproposal to Iran in form of diplomatic exchanges, which continued last week with Iran saying it has counterproposed. Thursday saw the Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi tell that Tehran anticipates giving its official answer within days.
In the meantime, American military movements had not been halted, as provided by Trump in his social media post. The USS Theodore Roosevelt and other supporting ships, according to the officials of the U.S., would arrive in the area at the end of October.
Can Bitcoin Price Hold $82,000 and Extend Its Recent Rebound?
The BTC price stands at $83,103 after recovering from below $82,000.
The Chaikin Money Flow indicator has a value of 0.14 after crossing the zero-line indicating a fresh accumulation in the recent recovery.
The MACD line is at -657.44, which is higher than its -689.24 signal line and the histogram has gone positive at 31.80. The crossover indicates a downward pressure but the MACD is below zero and the broader trend is under strain.

The recovery will be reinforced with a four-hour close above $84,000 and put the next marked resistance of $86,000 in the spotlight for the Bitcoin long-term prediction.
Nonetheless, further rejection around 84,000 might expose Bitcoin to another test of faith at about 82,000. A four-hour close below 82,000 would undermine the recovery and the psychological 80,000 zone would become a potential point of downside.
