Highlights

  • Crypto market pressure builds before major economic and regulatory events.
  • Bitcoin price must hold $62,480 to preserve near-term recovery prospects.
  • CLARITY Act remains unscheduled as lawmakers approach the August recess.

As the month of August begins, the crypto market faces a crowded calendar of economic reports, earnings, and regulatory negotiations. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP are pressured as buyers evaluate lower prices. Production data, workforce numbers, SpaceX outcomes, and CLARITY Act debates might influence the overall feelings during the week.

Crypto Market Faces Pressure Ahead of a Busy Week of Major Events

The crypto market fell 1.14% to $2.15 trillion during the previous 24 hours. Bitcoin price fell 1% to $62,756 the leading digital currencies added to their weakness.

Ethereum price declined 0.89% to $1,857.24, while XRP slipped 0.99% to $1.07. These movements were trading in hesitation before a number of potentially market-moving events.

Risk sentiment also shifted after President Trump paused planned military strikes against Iran. The move eased short-term geopolitical tension, but the uncertainty about the region persists.

U.S. Jobs Data, PMI Reports, and Earnings Take Center Stage

The July ISM Manufacturing PMI is presented on Monday, and it will provide new information regarding the factory activity and demand. Tuesday is followed by June JOLTS job openings and some much anticipated earnings reports.

AMD and SpaceX are scheduled to release quarterly results on Tuesday. SpaceX will publish second-quarter results after the market closes, followed by a management webcast.

Wednesday brings the ADP private employment report and July ISM Services PMI. Technology shares and currencies may also be subject to changes based on SanDisk earnings and Bank of Japan meeting minutes.

The July employment report on Friday can be the biggest economic driver of the week. The information on hiring, unemployment, and wages might alter the interest rates and risk demand expectations.

The improved employment data would boost the dollar and lower the anticipation of an easier monetary policy. Poor performance can spark renewed fears on a decelerating economic growth.

CLARITY Act Talks Enter Final Stage Before the August Recess

The CLARITY Act remains absent from the Senate’s published Monday floor schedule. The cloture on H.R. 6500 is instead to be considered by senators.

H.R. 6500 is a vehicle of continuing resolution and is independent of the crypto market structure legislation.

The lack of this leaves the CLARITY Act without a publicly affirmed Senate floor vote. Before the August recess, negotiations on controversial ethics provisions could persist.

The proponents consider this week as a window of time to strike a deal. Friday is not however an official vote date.

The latest debates have been based on suggested ethics limits and potential bipartisanship. The necessary motions that should be introduced in the Senate on the floor have not been submitted by senate leaders.

Advancements might enable a feeling of transactions, stablecoin issuers, and other crypto enterprises. The other delay can be an extension of uncertainty about future federal market rules.

BTC, ETH, and XRP Price Outlook: Key Levels to Watch

Bitcoin price must defend the $62,480 Fibonacci support to maintain its near-term recovery prospects. That level would sustain a second test of $63500 and $64 000 as per the future Bitcoin outlook.

The continued trend of rising beyond $64,000 would empower the bullish trend. Nevertheless, the loss of $62,480 can put Bitcoin at risk of falling to the next support of $61,275.

Ethereum price remains above its key $1,800 support despite recent selling. Under a stabilized Bitcoin and a broader market pressure, buyers would aim at targeting $1,900.

Any decisive action below $1,800 can reveal Ethereum to $1,750. Such a bearish scenario is likely to be increased in case Bitcoin fails to hold the $62,000 area.

XRP price can stay within the range of $1.05 support and $1.09 resistance. A breakout of more than $1.09 may open the door to a move up to $1.12.

But a failure to protect at $1.05 could lead to pressure to sell at $1.00. Regulatory developments could influence XRP’s next directional move.
