Tron [TRX] and ZenCash [ZEN] Partners up with Pornhub for Payments Option
One of the biggest and popular porn sites, Pornhub is soon going to accept payments in Tron (TRX) and ZenCash (ZEN) cryptocurrencies. With over 90 million daily users, this move will lead to a huge user base and further boost crypto adoption.
Pornhub to soon accept TRX and ZEN payments
Pornhub is all set to extend its cryptocurrency spectrum as one of the most popular and biggest Porn sites is planning to accept Tron (TRX) and ZenCash (ZEN) in payments soon. World’s 11th largest cryptocurrency by market cap, Tron has recently celebrated its Independence Day. Moving away from the Ethereum blockchain, it has now migrated to its own blockchain.
Recently, it has been confirmed that Tron’s founder and CEO, Justin Sun has acquired the file-sharing platform, BitTorrent reportedly in a deal of $118 million. Apparently, this acquisition has been made to expand the reach of Tron cryptocurrency. The company is reportedly planning to develop a decentralized content sharing platform. However, no official details for the same have been revealed yet.
Now, with this latest addition, the user base of Tron will only rise further. Pornhub which allegedly has over 90 million daily users will create a huge user base for the Tron cryptocurrency.
Pornhub has always been the early adopter of new technology. Now, they have moved onto the volatile cryptocurrency market. It all started back in mid-April when Pornhub announced a partnership with Verge cryptocurrency. Verge is an anonymity focused cryptocurrency that obscures IP addresses and makes transactions completely untraceable.
Corey Price, the VP of Pornhub said in a statement,
“Decentralized payment systems have continued to grow in popularity, and cryptocurrency adoption is exploding across a broad economic spectrum.”

Huge user base on the way, crypto adoption to get a boost
Apart from Tron, Pornhub is also planning to allow its users to pay with ZenCash (ZEN). ZenCash is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency which is “public, private, and anonymous”.
Price also stated,
“Today, cryptocurrencies are especially viable in the adult entertainment industry because they are privacy-centric and incorporate more anonymity tools than traditional tender.”
Both the cryptocurrencies are fairly new in the market as only last year they have been launched. Currently, ZenCash is at $16.22 with a market cap of $67 million.
At the time of writing, Tron has been at $0.0388 with a market cap of $2.5 billion while managing the daily trading volume of over $100 million. Tron is slowly but gradually making its way to becoming a strong cryptocurrency as with the latest developments it has claimed to be able to process about 10,000 payments per second.
Partnerships like these only add to the rising adoption of cryptocurrencies in the real world and spreading into the different sectors of businesses as well.
