Bitget has now been named as the leader in liquidity and execution quality, according to a new independent DeFiLlama report on tokenized equities. The results are presented as the sector is nearing the $2 billion in 2026.

Bitget Leads DefiLlama Tokenized Equities Report

The tokenized equity market capitalization is up over 140% this year, notes the report. The market has increased from $814 million in the beginning of 2026 to almost $2 billion. The growth leads to growing demand for blockchain exposure in publicly listed companies.

DeFiLlama evaluated the top equity tokenization marketplaces based on a number of metrics. These encompassed brokerage integration, reserve verification, dividend treatment, settlement models and trading infrastructure. The study also compared the quoted liquidity and execution quality between various trading venues.

Bitget had the best trading experience of all the tokenized stock platforms analyzed. It had the smallest median bid-ask spread of 0.83 basis points. The exchange also provided the highest top-of-book liquidity over the 5 equity-market tokenizations analyzed.

A wider range of markets was also assessed for the report, where the markets evaluated were perpetual markets. This included 36 stock perpetuals and eight metals/commodity perpetuals. Here, Bitget led in terms of liquidity depth at the 5-basis-point price level for 32 contracts.

Moreover, it was leading 34 contracts on the 10 basis point level and 33 contracts on the 50 basis point level. The crypto exchange also had the largest order book depth when measured in the total volume of orders in each range.

CEO Gracy Chen Lauds The Latest Feat

“A tokenized stock is only as good as the market behind it. Investors dont care how the asset is packaged if they can’t trade it efficiently,” stated Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. She added, “That’s why liquidity and execution matter. DeFiLlama found Bitget recorded the lowest median bid-ask spread and the deepest top-of-book liquidity across the markets they evaluated. As this market grows, those are the things investors will increasingly expect.”

Additionally, the report noted high adoption of Bitget’s Reality rTokens. More than $1.16 billion worth of cumulative trading volume was reported in the product from June until July. Most of the activity was related to technology and semiconductors. This was a continuation of the trend of buying tokenized exposure into public companies with innovative business models.
