Highlights

  • Securitize launches HINC with Neuberger, bringing high-yield bonds, CLOs and leveraged loans onto public blockchains.
  • HINC operates across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui, giving eligible investors multiple blockchain access options.
  • Neuberger serves as HINC subadvisor, drawing on a fixed-income platform managing over $230 billion globally.

Securitize has launched HINC, a tokenized fixed-income fund giving eligible investors on-chain access to high-yield bonds, CLOs and leveraged loans, with Neuberger serving as subadvisor to the fund.

Securitize Launches HINC With Neuberger

Securitize has launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund, known as HINC. The product marks Neuberger’s first role as a subadvisor to a tokenized fund. Through the launch, the firm will bring its fixed-income strategy to public blockchain networks.

HINC will invest mainly in high-yield bonds. However, the fund can also invest in other income assets, including CLOs and leveraged loans. Neuberger will manage the portfolio and provide research support. Its wider fixed-income platform oversees more than $230 billion in assets.

“We are pleased to work with Securitize to extend our process-driven, actively managed approach to qualified investors looking to access fixed income strategies on-chain,” Neuberger Head of Product Management Anil Abraham said.

HINC Expands Across Avalanche and Three Other Networks

Investors will be able to access HINC through Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui. As a result, eligible investors can choose from four public blockchain networks. Securitize will provide the technology and services needed to support the tokenized fund.

“This tokenized fund brings Neuberger’s established fixed income capabilities to public blockchains,” Securitize co-founder and CEO Carlos Domingo said. He added that launching across four networks gives eligible investors several ways to access the fund.

Meanwhile, Securitize Capital LLC will serve as HINC’s investment adviser. Securitize Markets LLC will offer interests in the fund to eligible investors. Other Securitize units will provide fund services and support its blockchain operations.

HINC Targets Eligible Accredited Investors

Access to HINC will remain limited to eligible accredited investors and qualified purchasers. Before investing, users must complete identity and anti-money laundering checks. Location rules and securities laws will also determine who can access the product.

Rather than buying each bond or loan directly, investors receive exposure through tokenized interests in HINC. Neuberger will manage the underlying fixed-income portfolio. At the same time, Securitize will manage the infrastructure that places fund interests on public blockchains.

The launch also expands the range of financial assets available on Avalanche. The network already supports tokenized products tied to areas such as credit and government securities. HINC now adds an actively managed high-yield strategy to that market.

For on-chain allocations, institutions use institutional crypto custody solutions for security and compliance.
