The SpaceX stock ended at $141.29 on Thursday, losing part of the gains it had made in recent days. Shares were in the range of $139.76 to $145.05 on the day. The drop is related to investors anticipating another significant lockup expiration Aug. 20. An estimated additional 320 million shares should be available for trading.

SpaceX Signs 2027 Launch Deal With Vietnam’s VinSpace
Vietnam’s space start-up VinSpace has signed a contract with the space transportation firm SpaceX for a Transporter rideshare launch in 2027. As part of its initial space technology program, the Vingroup-backed company aims to launch its own satellites. In November 2025, VinSpace was established.
Its future spacecraft will enable in-orbit technology demonstration, and will then be used by the company. The company has not revealed the terms of the deal or the satellites’ details.
SpaceX Stock Eyes $150 As Elon Musk’s AI Forecast Fuels Rally
SpaceX shares rose 9.65% to $146.15 following a four-day advance that brought the total up to more than 40%. The shares rose by 0.48% in the premarket trading, to $146.85. The move came as Elon Musk predicted the future of SpaceX’s AI business. According to Musk, the company’s AI revenue will be higher than the rest of the company’s revenue combined in September. He also sees a significant increase in the fourth quarter.
CoinGape analysis shows that $150 is a critical psychological level. There are areas of resistance near $147 for the stock. Support sits around $145. A drop below that would reveal $140. Additional weakness could set up a target for $133.29. When looking at the price chart above $147, $150 is the next important level. Read More.
